Jax Jones Nominated For Ivor Novello

“Breathe” could win one of music’s most prestigious awards.

The Ivor Novello Awards are one of the music industries most well-respected accolades. Named after the prodigious Welsh composer, the Ivor Novello’s focus on excellence in songwriting and musicality.

Speaking about this year’s list of nominations, Ivors Academy Chair, Crispin Hunt, said; “The works nominated for The Ivors 2019 are brilliantly diverse, and we’re delighted to see so many first-time nominees recognised. As the only peer-nominated music award in the country, they are a fantastic reflection of the exciting emerging talent of British and Irish music creators today”.

Jax is nominated in the PRS For Music Most Performed Work, for his hit single with Ina Wroldsen, “Breathe”. It’s a competitive category with George Ezra and Rudimental also in contention. But we’re sure Jax can pull it off!
